It’s A Meat Cute

The charcuterie board.

It’s a glorious array of flavors, textures and saturated fat. Naysayers will call it a “grown-up Lunchable,” but those in the know understand what it takes to craft the perfect meat-n-cheese spread. It’s not unlike building the perfect campaign. 

In 2020, we had the chance to craft a new campaign for the Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau to get the word out about all that Augusta has to offer. We put out an all-call for Augusta residents to share their perfect AUG itinerary, and we made a few of those residents our campaign stars. It’s one of our favorite campaigns to date, and you can take a deep dive here

This month, we wanted to show some love to our friends on the Augusta CVB team in the form of a custom board (by Julie Voegtlen) tricked out with a beautiful charcuterie spread. A neighborly gesture, wouldn’t you agree?

Smart Strategy

Trust us—you don’t just show up at the deli counter, start buying a bunch of meat and cheese and expect it to all go together. You’ve got to think ahead. (Graphic: Emily charcuterie board plan)

Bold Budget

If you’re setting out to start a campaign, it’s best to have a healthy budget to give it the reach your organization deserves. It’s the difference between American slices and Parmigiano-Reggiano. Great strategy and eye-catching creative don’t mean much if you can’t get it out into the world.

That brings us to the next key campaign component—compelling creative. We might be a full-service agency now, but our roots are in kickass graphic design.
