3 Interns. 2 Departments. 1 Summer.

PROJECT: Summer Intern Recap

5 Lessons Learned

  1. Be ready to be on aux for the whole office—it's not as scary as it seems and people will jam you which is very fun!

  2. The people really did make the place for us. We had the best summer not only because of W/S but because of how the people were so inclusive and kind to us and the teams, clients and people we saw on a day-to-day basis was what filled each day with joy and fun!

  3. GSD is an all-encompassing core value that we lived by this summer. Immediately we were put to work, which was a compliment, because they trusted us enough to start pushing out content very early on. An example of this is the work we did on the company’s 21st birthday. We set it up, ran errands, and constantly took content throughout the entire party. They gave us full control on one of their most important days as a company. This gave us creative freedom and the confidence to be proud of our own work.

  4. Don't take anything too seriously. Working while having fun is possible and Wier / Stewart showed us that firsthand.

  5. Optimism is key in all situations. Having optimism is what breeds success and what you think in your mind is what is evident in your life!

Ps... Don’t eat ranch in front of Eric
