Behind the Scene(s)

For nearly 50 years, Augusta Tomorrow has been working silently as a champion of downtown, its people, and businesses. Motivated by the loss of Broad Street as the city's center during the early 80s era of the malls, ATI has cultivated positive change in the heart of Augusta ever since. They're the fine, all-volunteer folks who brought you the Urban Area Master Plans, resulting in the completion of many projects, such as: the Riverwalk on the Savannah levee, Lafayette Center Redevelopment of the entire north side of the 900 block of Broad Street, the Augusta Riverfront Project (Marriott Hotel, Convention Center, and Riverfront Center) and the Augusta Common. Now, we're on board (we've always been "on board" with ATI) to help gain traction and enthusiasm for Downtown Augusta and North Augusta's 2035 Vision, which will capture 10 years of transformation and improvement.
